Microsoft periodically sends out automated emails based on your consumption of Dataverse storage, formerly Common Data Service. Your Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Apps consumption can include a variety of items including back-ups, historical data, stored documents, additional sandbox tenants, developer tools, and downloaded apps.
Options include purchasing additional storage, archiving data, moving documents to SharePoint online, using a 3rd party for cloud-backups as well as reducing or rationalizing apps.
